About Mālama Maui Nui

(Community Work Day Program)

The people of Maui Nui share a deep sense of place that is rooted in aloha ‘āina, love for the land. Stewardship of our diverse landscapes and ecosystems mauka to makai is conducted in the spirit of laulima, many hands working together, because the kuleana, the responsibility, of preserving the environment is upon all who live, work, and visit here.
