The Volunteer Coordinator supports MMN programs by recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers while ensuring effective engagement, accurate reporting, and positive volunteer experiences. This working supervisory role requires strong leadership, cultural awareness, and knowledge of sustainable waste management practices.

The Operations Manager oversees daily operations and supervises the Field Technicians and Volunteer Coordinator to ensure efficient program delivery, accurate reporting, and smooth organizational functioning. This working supervisory role supports the Executive Director through program oversight, administrative coordination, and operational management.

The Field Technician supports MMN’s environmental stewardship programs through hands-on fieldwork and community engagement across Maui. This role includes roadside litter removal, illegal dumpsite cleanups, recycling collection events, and other mālama ʻāina initiatives. Technicians work in teams to safely collect, sort, and properly dispose of waste while following established safety protocols. Responsibilities also include operating tools and equipment, maintaining vehicles and supplies, and ensuring worksites are clean and restored. This position requires physical stamina, reliability, teamwork, and a strong commitment to caring for the ʻāina and serving the community.
